Ravishankar is the Vice-President of the Silicon IP Business Unit at Ittiam Systems and also plays the role of Business Development Manager for APAC region. Having over 24 years of industry experience in VLSI, DSP and Multimedia domains, Ravishankar was also part of the Ittiam founding team.Prior to Ittiam, Ravishankar was with Texas Instruments India from 1986-2000. During his tenure at TI, Ravi worked and held several positions in the areas of DSP design, DSP applications and Semiconductor Sales and Marketing before becoming General Manager of the DSP Software Development systems group of TI India. Ravi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from University of Madras and an Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He also holds a post graduate diploma in IPR Law from National Law School, Bangalore.
