Dr. Gururaj Deshpande, Founder and Trustee – Deshpande Foundation and Chairman of Sycamore Networks, was felicitated on being appointed as the Co-chairman to US President Barack Obama’s National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
It was a very proud moment for the people to have an individual amongst them who had risen to proud level.
The felicitation was presided over by Shri B S Yeddyurappa, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka under the presence of several political and business leaders from the local region.
The function also saw a panel discussion between Dr. Gururaj Deshpande and Shri B S Yeddyurappa being moderated by Ashok Shettar, Principal, BVB College of Engineering.The event saw a packed capacity hall with enthusiasts eagerly listening to conversation by Dr. Gururaj Deshpande and Shri B S Yeddyurappa.
