TiE Hubli Women Entrepreneurs wing presents business
plan competition for women entrepreneurs,
with an objective of stimulating and
nourishing the entrepreneurial spirit amongst women in North Karnataka region.
This proposed competition is for budding and
aspiring women entrepreneurs from North Karnataka region, who are willing to
start their enterprise or those who have recently started their venture. It
gives an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas, get
mentored and remould their idea into an implementable/scaleable business plan. Top 10 selected teams will be mentored by the charter members of TiE
Hubli. Top 3 winners will be awarded during TiE Annual event, the
total prize amount will be Rs. 1,00,000
(One Lakh). The last date to register is 31st
October, 2013. Registration fees will be Rs. 1,000 (One Thousand) per team.
The basic purpose of having this business plan
competition is to create interest among budding women entrepreneurs about
planning one’s own venture and understanding economic and operational viability
of their projects. Participants can meticulously work out the business plan by
coming out with innovative business ideas, preparing viability of business
venture in terms of operations, marketing, finance, and manpower requirements,
and chalking out revenue models with details of investments, sources of funds,
and funds flow statements. Business plan preparation helps participants to
critically evaluate their entrepreneurial dreams with market and economic
realities.
