Dr. Prasad B. Roodagi is the Professor and Director of KLES’s Institute of Management Studies and Research, Hubli. Dr. P.B Roodagi possesses 15 years of qualitative experience in Teaching / Student Management and Administration. He worked as a resource person for various orientation workshops conducted by Karnatak University. Dr. Roodagi has worked with various corporate houses in Bangalore and Mumbai. He has been the Managing Committee Member and Editor-in-Chief for the news bulletin of the North Karnataka Management Association, Hubli.
He has presented papers on “Developing Industry- Institute Interface: Issues & Strategies at Association of Indian Management Schools” and on “Gennext: 1H & 5Ws of Commerce and Management Teaching” at the National Seminar organized by D. M. College of Commerce, Mapusa, Goa. He has designed, developed and customized training programs and teaching curriculums for students. He has also extensively lectured, organised and co-ordinated at various workshops, events and seminars.
Dr. Roodagi holds a PhD degree from the Shivaji University, Kolhapur, where his thesis was entitled “Problems and Prospects of Small Scale Industries in Dharwad District”. Dr. P. B Roodagi is a post graduate in Business Administration (MBA), and he also holds a B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He teaches Marketing Management, Production and Operations Management, Entrepreneurship Development and Industrial Marketing. He has also been trained by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmadabad, in their workshop on “Case Writing/Analysis”, held at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, Mumbai, as well as on “Quality Improvement Program (QIP) on Teaching Methodology in Entrepreneurship Development” at TAPMI, Manipal.
