Dr. Mahesh Nalwad was Born in HUBLI & brought up in Gulbarga. He has graduated in MBBS and has done post graduation (M D int med )at Gulbarga. He was an outstanding student in the school in studies & represented school in sports,debate/speech/quiz competitions.
Joined as medical officer & did one year rural service between 1991- 1992 and later joined KARNATAKA MEDICAL COLLEGE as lecturer in department of medicine 1992 – 1996.
He started private practice in 1993 ,continuing to practice for 17 years, he also started a small nursing home at vikas nagar in 1996 in Hubli of ten beds & later expanded to sixty bedded multispeciality hospital with most modern facilities including dialysis in 1997.
He is an active member & has served in different posts in various medical organizations like API ,CSI ,IMA, RSSDI ,ISE. He is also the chairman of HUBLI SCAN CENTRE (P) LTD , Chairman of SUCHIRAYU HEALTH CARE SOLUTIONS (P) LTD & is also involved in non-medical organizations like Chairman of KUMARA VYASA SEVA TRUST, President of GANDHI VICHARA VEDIKE, HUBLI, Joint Convener at GANDHI FOUNDATION GANDHI BHAVAN Blore.
He is intrested in promotion of nationalism/patriotism human values hygiene & sanitation organic farming,getting newer medical technologies & applying them in practice.
